Permission slips for the Farmer’s Market Field Trip are due Friday, Nov. 1st. This is a DROP OFF and PICK UP at the Farmer’s Market at Wilson Park on Nov. 5th. AM and PM classes meet in front of the Recreation Building at 9:00. The field trip will run from 9:00-11:30. Remember to give your little one some $ to buy a treat.

Fall Fling is tomorrow, October 30th. AM classes take Pumpkin Patch pictures at 8:50. The costume parade will begin at 9:25. The PM classes take Pumpkin Patch pictures at 1:25. Please bring a change of clothes for your child. No WEAPONS OF ANY KIND are allowed. Families are welcome.

Our Scholastic Book Fair kicks off Oct. 21st and runs till Oct. 26th. Books will be for sale at LAUNCH for you and your little ones to purchase. You can send some $ with them and they can buy something with their class or you can go with them at pick-up / drop-off. If you can’t make our Book Fair in person, you have a chance to attend online from 10/18-11/7:

Photographer Karen Rennie’s art will be on display at Javaman Coffee Shop in Hermosa Beach from 10/19-11/30. 30% of profit from any images sold will be donated to LAUNCH.
Greeting cards will be available for purchase at the artist reception on 10/19 at Javaman. 50% of profit from all greeting cards sold will be donated to LAUNCH.
If you can’t make the reception but wish to purchase a photo or reserve an appointment for a photo shoot, contact Karen at FunZoneToo@msn.com. Mention you’re booking in support of LAUNCH, and 30% of fees from photo shoots booked will be donated to LAUNCH.

October 25th is Back to School Night. AM class visits will be from 4:30pm-5:00pm. PTA and Principal Elaine Semple will speak from 5:00pm-5:20pm. PM class visits will be from 5:20pm-5:50pm.
